Inside SciBX
SciBX will be published weekly in PDF format and will be delivered to subscribers by e-mail. Each issue will contain around 20 pages and will provide a timely, comprehensive and understandable analysis of the most promising science and technology from a scientific and business perspective.
The SciBX editorial team will distill the most important papers from a scientific and commercial perspective, choosing from the thousands of scientific papers that are published each week. The target papers will have been published in the most frequently cited journals within the fields of biotechnology, life sciences and chemistry (List of journals Monitored by SciBX). The selected papers will form the base material for two main article types: Analysis and The Distillery.
Analysis - These articles provide both an in-depth analysis of key research findings within the scientific and commercial landscape and a critical understanding of the scientific context, commercial impact and critical next steps of life science research. Analysis articles will be fully illustrated with high-quality graphics and tables.
In-depth analysis
All articles will be categorised using the following subheadings to enable the reader to quickly find articles of primary interest:
- Targets & Mechanisms
- Markers
- Drug Platforms
- Tools
Analysis articles will allow the full explanation of significant advances and provide in-depth discussions while placing these advances within the correct scientific and commercial context. Interviews with leading experts will go beyond the basic science in order to analyze and identify the crucial next steps and the impact of these findings on players in the field.

The Distillery - Provides short, key briefings that filter, notify and classify the most important research papers in biotechnology, life science and chemistry research.
Distilled science
All articles will be categorised to enable the reader to quickly find articles of primary interest:
- This Week in Therapeutics
- This Week in Techniques
Therapeutics will include important research on targets and compounds grouped by disease class and indication. Techniques will focus on novel findings relevant to research tools, disease models and manufacturing processes that have the potential to enable or improve drug discovery and development.
The Distillery will go beyond the abstract to explain the science, its commercial relevance, licensing status and companies known to be working in the area, where applicable.
